Decorating Your Thanksgiving Table

I’m so excited to talk about Thanksgiving tablescapes today! I wanted to jump back into the world of interior design, and share some inspiration. We don’t host Thanksgiving, so I don’t often think about creating a tablescape for the Holiday. This year, I started seeing things that I loved so I wanted to ignite some inspiration for those of you who do host Thanksgiving in your homes.

Decorating your Thanksgiving table does not have to come at a high price. Not only can you find décor on sale at places like Michael’s or Home Goods, but you can also use things just outside your door! Fresh picked apples or pears, wheat, pumpkins, and seasonal florals are all easily accessible this time of year. You can also include faux greenery like eucalyptus or garland, which can be found at most craft stores!

Here are some of my favorite Thanksgiving tablescapes for the 2018 Holiday.

Walmart has some great table runners (like the one pictured above) for under $15! Check it out HERE!

Blend the old with the new to create more texture to your tablescape.

Fresh fruit tied to a place card add a personalized touch for each guest.

Keep it simple, as not to take away from the star of the show.. that TURKEY!

When it comes to fall decor, specifically a Thanksgiving table, Joanna Gaines said it best: "There are two things that I think truly welcome the season of entertaining: good food and a set dining table." Check out her thoughts about the Thanksgiving table HERE!

Don't worry about having the perfect pumpkins, rustic is my kind of style!

Tapered candles are a great way to add height to your tablescape while keeping an open view for everyone to enjoy each other's company.

Pops of color with touches of greenery can add so much to a neutral table runner.

Add sprigs of wheat wrapped in ribbon to add elegance to your pace setting.

Wishing you all the best this Holiday season.
